Nordiska Kompaniet (NK): NK Department Store

s5.jpgNK Department Store is one of the most famous and popular department stores in downtown Stockholm. This is an upmarket department store which caters mainly for above average and higher income groups. The department store is said to be patronised by more than 19 million visitors a year. It has six floors of shopping space. It is situated right along the famous tourist and shopping district namely Hamngatan (Port Street). This street is frequently bustling with activities throughout day and night during summer.

Almost all household items are available here. However Swedish glass and crystals are famous worldwide and are popular items to take home.

Prices are a little bit more expensive than the other lesser known department stores.
