Stockholm Travel Guide

Sweden's beautiful capital has a picturesque setting that makes the city unique. The difference between seasons is quite large, the summers green with mild nights, and the winters dark, cold, rainy, sometimes snowy, and with millions of Christmas candles in the windows.

About Stockholm

Stockholm covers an area of 120 square Km and is estimated to have a population of 1.3 million people being the capital and the largest city of Sweden. It is the site of the national Swedish government, the parliament, and the official residence of the Swedish monarch.

Michaelangelo

r3.jpgThis Italian restaurant has some great Italian food in a very cosy setting! It’s a small restaurant in the middle of the Old Town — which also adds to its charm! Quite romantic. It’s always full, as it’s quite popular, so I would recommend making a reservation in advance if you can; however, you might luck out, as we did. We had no reservation and were able to get a table there. There are many Italian dishes there, so you’re bound to find something you like. Enjoy the food! The only thing I didn’t like here was that you had to pay for them to take your coats, and it didn’t seem like you could escape doing this. It cost a couple dollars or so.
